I have been licensed as a professional counselor since 2015, and have been successfully guiding clients throughout Kentucky to facilitate their self-growth since then. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation. I also teach techniques to better manage the emotional stress of everyday life.

Anxiety, Depression and Relationship Solutions
Live Your Best Life
Are you struggling with relationship problems, anxiety, traumatic memories or depression? Maybe everyday stress has you just not feeling your best. Life's challenges are tough! Sometimes we need a little help to get us back on track. Many people hesitate to seek counseling for their problems, and we all want to think of ourselves as self sufficient, but everyone needs help from time to time. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to help them understand themselves and how they relate to other people. My approach is strength- based, and I strive during every session, to meet my clients "where they are" in their desire to change. I have a passion for educating clients about what I do, so they can use that knowledge to manage their lives independently. My goal is to help you find your inner strength and to guide you to your best life. Sometimes we just need a road map to get to our destination. Think of me as your GPS. I will suggest a direction, and if you take a different path, I will recalculate. Let's take this journey together!

Evidenced Based Practices
My approach is strength-based and tailored to each client pulling from evidenced-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavioral, and Person Centered. My clinical focus is on working with individuals age 14 and older to address a variety of problems. I enjoy meeting with clients to assist them with problems associated with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life stressors, as well as those with PTSD and trauma histories.

What Is EMDR?
Helping You Move Forward
Eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation seem to activate your problem solving process; something that happens during REM sleep when your eyes are darting back and forth. By focusing on a specific problem, and both its negative and positive emotions, sensations, and beliefs, then adding bilateral stimulation, your brain begins problem solving. Since you are focused on the specific problem, your brain is able to work through it more effectively than what would happen if it randomly comes up while you are sleeping.
